How’d you get to where you are today, working at 435 Digital?
I was recommended for the position by a former co-worker, Dani Divito. Dani is currently with the Cars.com digital division of the Tribune. We worked together on the Inside Sales division of Cars.com at Classified Ventures. Dani and I share similar backgrounds and personalities, so when a position opened, she reached out to me.
What is your favorite YouTube video?
This is a tough one. I’ll have to say the full length feature film “Runaway” by Kanye West. I appreciate art, especially visual and musical arts. In high school, I majored in vocal music and I played the cello for about 10 years. This album/movie is amazing. The story is intense, all packed into a 35 minute movie.
Who is your favorite person to follow on Twitter and why?
Funk Master Flex (@funkmasterflex), a famous DJ in NY. I love his blog. I’m a self-proclaimed news junkie, and his tweets blast out all of his blog posts, which cover all aspects of news.
What is your favorite thing about Chicago?
My favorite thing about Chicago is the history. I personally have a unique background being that I grew up east of the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Randolph. Life was always interesting, never a dull moment. I’ve seen neighborhoods decline and I’ve witnessed major growth in areas that were rebuilt. Every part of the city and every person has a story to tell.
What do you love about your role as a Digital Marketing Consultant at 435 Digital?
I love the products and I’m excited to get out there to sell! The products make sense and the prices are reasonable. Both Chris and Richard trained us in a way where we will be able to communicate each product’s purpose clearly and easily to our potential clients. Even though we are all new, the bonds are already forming. I actually like that the department is new and developing. It’s exciting to think of all of the possibilities the future holds.
