How’d you get to where you are today, working at 435 Digital?
Upon graduation and serving one year as a GA at the university, I began my aggressive search for an opportunity in sales. I strongly believed that being in sales was the best position that will enable me to reach and accomplish my personal and professional goals. I applied and interviewed with Chicago Tribune’s 435 Digital, and was given the opportunity to be a part of a team of outside sales professionals and aid in launching and igniting this brand new division.
What is your favorite YouTube video?
My favorite YouTube video is a motivational video with a number of speeches and quotes put together. Throughout my years of college playing soccer, I would listen to this video along with many other videos before my games in the locker room. This video really got to me and made me remember what commitment was to me and most importantly, my team.
Who is your favorite person to follow on Twitter and why?
I like following @Sportscenter most because I like to stay up-to-date with what is going on within the sports world, especially when it is soccer season.
What is your favorite thing about Chicago?
I like how diversified Chicago is. It truly has a little taste of all sorts of cultures. I would also tie in how I admire the city of Chicago in regards to the corporate side of things. Growing up, I always looked at and admired businessmen walking around in a suit and tie, holding a briefcase. That has always been my ideal profession and continues to be the type of job that I desire most.
What do you love about your role as a Digital Marketing Consultant at 435 Digital?
I love how I am a part of a brand new division of Chicago Tribune. Being a hunter and aiding the company build this division from scratch is one of the most exciting things for me. In regards to being a sales representative at 435 Digital, I like how I am dealing with current technology and staying up-to-date with digital marketing. Giving people solutions and helping business truly grow is priceless.
