I'm really surpised that WowBao didn't make the list - yes this is a fantastic list and I'm not knocking anyone on it and I'm sure it was difficult to compile. However I do feel Wow Bao with all of their customer interactions via Facebook and Twitter through contests, customer appreciation shout-outs, strategic integration into online conversations, and their most-recent Foursquare campaign, they really take advantage of EVERY aspect of social.

With that being said, this is indeed a fantastic list and all of these businesses have a fantastic presence both in Chicago and online. Congrats to them all and congrats to Chicago for being such a social city! :)

Thank you for this list! While it's a great honor to be mentioned among Chicago's great social media presences, I love the others on this list too. We follow and learn daily from Threadless, Colonel Tribune, Berry Chill, food trucks, and the Blackhawks - and are looking forward to learning from the others on your list.

Also, good job collecting info on businesses and not just stating their numerical statistics. While followers, fans, friends, etc. are a measure of "success," they're certainly not the only measure - and you've done a good job to show how each company engages with the community they serve.

Thanks again.
